KUS’s new marine product line are the digital liquid level sending unit, digital engine monitoring instrumentation, and analog-to-digital converter box.
The new digital product line are NMEA 2000 certified, which means it allows for an easy, plug-and-play installation.
Level Senders
KUS liquid level senders are common used in detection of fuel level, water level, or holding tank level. The electronic level senders uses reed switch and magnetic field technology. The float is the only moving part of the sender, thereby minimizing the chances of mechanical failures. KUS liquid level senders are preferred by OEMs over thick-film swing arm type level senders for our reliability and durability.
We work with tank manufacturers to supply standard off-the-shelf senders, as well as calibrated units designed for the special tank geometries.
We also work with boat and yacht manufacturers directly to provide custom senders for the on-board system with switch or alarm requirements.
Gauge Instrumentation
KUS has over 20 years of experience supplying gauge and instrumentation for the marine industry; we know the importance quality performance in the harshest environment.
The gauge bodies are IP67 rated with anti-fogging and scratch resistant lens cover; this means the gauge are waterproof and built to withstand the open water conditions. Our analog gauges are also back-lit by long lasting LED lights, making it easy to read at night or under the sun’s glare.
KUS offers complete sets of gauges for the inboard and outboard engines, as well as other gauges to help you have a safer experience out on the water.
NMEA Certified Products
NMEA 2000 network is a Controller Area Network (CAN) bus technology that is becoming more widely adapted by the marine industry for boat and yachts of all sizes. It is a plug-and-play network with no master nodes to configure, and can support hot swappable devices.
The NMEA 2000 network consists of a backbone with terminal plugs at both ends, a network of certified devices, drop tees, and drop lines branching from the backbone to each of the network devices.
