Brazing

At KUS, we are capable of brazing service, which is the process of joining two metals together by melting and flowing a filler metal into the joint. Entrust your projects to KUS and discover what high-quality brazing can do for you.

Brazing With Various Materials

We manufacture brazed joints in various materials. With an assortment to choose from, we use our expertise to determine which metal is the best choice for every application. Silver brazing, for example, is performed for low-temperature applications, far below the annealing point of stainless steel. Nickel alloys, on the other hand, are highly resistant to corrosion, making this alloy ideal for harsh environments. These are only the most common brazing materials, but we have the ability to work with other types of metal.

Induction Brazing

Induction Brazing is ideal for repetitive applications, and can be optimized to reduce oxidation during the brazing process. The downside to induction brazing is that it can only be applied to ferro-magnetic parts.

Furnace Brazing

Furnace brazing is an excellent choice for applications withstanding high temperatures . Additionally, furnace brazing allows for more complex part geometries.

Tube Brazing

Tube brazing allows us to manufacture reliable and precise joints, accommodating even minimally sized fillets. Tube brazing also allows for complex assemblies, such as enclosures or T-Joints.
