NMEA 2000 Certified
NMEA 2000 network is a Controller Area Network (CAN) bus technology that is becoming more widely adapted by the marine industry for boat and yachts of all sizes. It is a plug-and-play network with no master nodes to configure, and can support hot swappable devices.
The NMEA 2000 network consists of a network of certified devices, backbone with terminal plugs at both ends, drop tees, and drop lines branching from the backbone to each of the network devices.
Level Sender
KUS’s NS5 Liquid Level Sender is developed specifically for the NMEA 2000 network.
The NS5 can be used in fuel or water applications onboard your vessel. The liquid level is measured using electric reed switch technology, which has been proven to be reliable, accurate, and dependable. The signal is converted to NMEA 2000 network message, and can be easily setup on the plug-and-play network.
Multiple NS5 on the same network can be further customized by using KUS setup tool to differentiate the signals.
Gauges and Multi-function Instrumentation
KUS understand the importance of getting accurate and reliable performance information when out on the water.
The SeaN series of gauges offers easy plug-and-play installation to the NMEA 2000 network while maintaining a clean classic design. SeaN series consists of 7 singles function gauges, and a Integrated Tachometer that also shows real time performance data, such as battery status, engine temperature, oil pressure, fuel consumption rate, etc.
Accessories
KUS offers accessories that function with the NMEA 2000 network.
The NKC42 Network Converter is a universal adapter that allows you to connect your existing analog equipment to the NMEA 2000 network.
The GPS Antenna receives satellite signal and provides high-precision, real-time location information to the NMEA 2000 and/or J1939 network.
