KUS Announces Mexico Regional Office
Davie, Fla. — Over the past 30 years, KUS Auto Group manufactured products and components to supply the Americas region. As time had progressed, international trading laws have changed making exporting to the United States more challenging and costly to customers.
In order to regain the competitive edge, KUS has decided to open up a regional office based out of Escobedo, Mexico. The KUS Mexico regional office will be responsible for research and development, production, sales and after-sales service, and product solutions for DEF tank assemblies.
KUS had invested a lot in the early stages of the production of the Mexico regional office and had to overcome cultural differences to cultivate a seamless production supply chain. Through joint efforts with local colleagues, KUS introduced large-scale automation equipment, installation machines, and debugging equipment in a workshop covering an area of 6,500 square meters. As time had progressed, the most advanced blow molding machines and rotational molding machines would enter the facility to begin production capabilities.
In December 2020, a North American OEM conducted the first online factory audit and production part approval process (PPAP) on the factory. Customers have given high praise to the professional team and outstanding work of the KUS Mexico regional office. In the same month, KUS Mexico regional office ushered in a historic moment — the first delivery of large quantities of DEF tanks to customers.
In 2021, the KUS Mexico regional office is expected to continue to expand its business to continuously meet the needs of its customers in the Americas region. The establishment of the Mexico regional office marks a new milestone in KUS Group’s overseas strategy. In the future, KUS Group will invest more in capital, technology, devote itself to the cultivation of local talents, and the localization of parts and components.
